The air heaters in the ‘FWD’ series have been developed for use in small storage rooms and similar applications. This device can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres in zones 1 and 2 or dust Ex zones 21 and 22 and is suitable for gas groups IIA, IIB or IIC.

- Robust steel housing with splash-proof design IP66
- Single-phase or three-phase design
- Temperature classes T2, T3 and T4 available
- Floor or wall mounting (wall brackets available on request)

- An explosion-proof room thermostat can be supplied as an option
- Suitable for ambient temperatures from -60°C to +60°C (under certain conditions)
- Heating cartridges can be replaced individually

Room Radiator Type FLR
ATEX II 2 G/D Ex d IIC T6 Gb (Gas) Zone 1 & 2 Ex t IIIC T85°C Db(Dust) Zone 21 & 22 CU TR
The FLR series of liquid-filled radiators has been developed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in zones 1 or 2 and zones 21 or 22, where dust particles are present in the air. The radiator can be supplied complete with an adjustable room thermostat.

Room Radiator Type HEF
ATEX / IECEx II 2 G Ex e II T4 Gb Zone 1&2 CU TR (EAC) / KGS / CSA (CAN&USA)
The HEF regulates itself and automatically adjusts its output to the ambient temperatures. Combined with its compact design, the HEF is therefore ideal for anti-condensation, frost protection and temperature control for all instrument and switchgear applications. The HEF series is certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres where the atmosphere is classified as Zone 1 or 2 (IIC) gas group.

- Certified and declared in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU
- Certified to CSA (Divisions and Zones) for North American markets
- Compact, low-profile 316 stainless steel housing requires minimal space
- Self-regulating for ambient temperatures from -60 °C (-55 °C for CSA-certified models only) to +80 °C
- The heater can be mounted in any orientation
- The design allows for closer installation to internal components and cables (minimum distance 100 mm)

The air heaters in the ‘FAW’ series have been developed for use in small storage rooms and similar applications. The series includes single-phase or three-phase versions with a connection voltage of up to 480 V. These devices are intended for use in potentially explosive areas of zones 1 or 2.
