The FP-C series of explosion-proof flange heaters with replaceable ceramic heating cartridges offers a solution for heating oil or other media with a specified low surface load. Due to the special heating element/cartridge arrangement, the heating cartridge can be removed from the system for inspection purposes, for example, without having to empty the tank. The standard heater consists of heating cartridges installed in a mounting flange. The electrical connection is made in a robust Ex d connection housing.

- Can also be supplied with an electrical connection housing at a distance from the mounting flange (cooling section), e.g. for high process temperatures
- Almost any standard flange within the design options can be used
- Installation is always horizontal; vertical installation on request
- Painted connection housing made of steel (or 316 stainless steel) with IP66 protection
- Can be used at ambient temperatures from -50°C to +60°C
- Optionally available with built-in temperature sensors

ATEX II 2 G Ex d IIC T3 – T6 Gb Zone 1 & 2 CU TR
The ‘RFA’ series of explosion-proof immersion heaters can be used in process tanks, oil pans of machines (compressors/pumps), in pressure vessels and for similar applications. They may be used in explosion-proof zones 1 and 2 and are suitable for gas groups IIA, IIB and IIC. The devices can be used to heat all non-corrosive media (gases and liquids).

The ‘RFA-C’ series of explosion-proof flange heaters with replaceable ceramic heating cartridges offers a solution for heating oil or other media with a very low permissible surface load. The heating cartridge can be removed from the system for inspection purposes, for example, without having to empty the tank. The standard heater consists of a single heating cartridge and a mounting flange. The electrical connection is made in a robust Ex d connection housing. The surface load and electrical power depend on the medium to be heated.
