With the world's first portable air heater for potentially explosive areas, OhmEx is marketing a globally unique product on the German-speaking market. Weighing just 25 kilograms, the compact air heater ‘The Bulldog’ is perfect for mobile use in Zones 1 & 2.
The device can be supplied directly from the manufacturer as a plug-and-play version with a cable up to 25 metres long. Additional features such as antistatic castors offer optimum comfort and protection for the user.
A flexible connection hose allows this device to be used to heat specific areas. It can therefore be used, for example, to de-ice or heat areas that are difficult to access. Even without a hose, the approx. 8-metre-long air flow allows for optimal spot heating.
The areas of application for the ATEX, IEC Ex and CU-TR certified device include onshore and offshore applications, areas at risk of gas and fuel hazards, aircraft hangars, battery, paint and ammunition storage facilities, sewage treatment and biogas plants, petrochemical plants and many more.

Electric Fan Air / Room Heater Type DELTA
Description
The DELTA is a robust and reliable fan heater suitable for use in industry, workshops, warehouses, construction sites, shipbuilding, etc. A wall bracket can be used to convert the portable device into a stationary heater. The DELTA fan heater is available in two sizes: 3-9 kW in a small housing (A: 410x435x420 mm) and 15-21 kW in a large housing (B: 505x540x510 mm).
Technical data
DELTA is supplied with a built-in 0–40°C thermostat, which ensures optimum operation with minimum energy consumption. The built-in thermal protection also protects against overheating. All models are supplied with a manually operated 5-stage switch that regulates the air volume and heating output. Furthermore, all models are optionally available with a 24-hour timer function.
Power supply
DELTA is designed with an inner pipe. This pipe ensures that the entire air flow is directed over the heating elements, thus avoiding cold zones. The fan heaters are supplied as standard in 400V 3~ + PE. Other voltages in the range 110 V – 690 V (50 Hz or 60 Hz) are available on request.
The protection class of the electrical components corresponds to IP44 (size 3–9 kW) and IP34 (size 15–21 kW).
Housing
Galvanised sheet steel, powder-coated in accordance with RAL 7004 (light grey).
Stationary operation
With the optional wall bracket, the fan heater can be mounted with the air outlet facing horizontally or at a downward angle of 15°. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the applicable regulations.
