Ohmex electric flange heaters offer a flexible and future-proof solution for heating industrial plants and systems. They are suitable both as replacements for existing heating systems and as built-in heating elements in new boiler, tank and heater systems. Their compact design allows them to be seamlessly integrated into existing process environments and enables a reliable supply of electrical heat.

Flange heaters are used as direct built-in heating elements in boilers, heating systems, machines, tanks and containers. They transfer heat efficiently directly to the medium and allow precise temperature control – regardless of fuels, exhaust gas routing or combustion processes. This makes them ideal for both stationary and mobile applications.

In the context of decarbonising industrial processes, electric flange heating elements represent a powerful alternative to fossil fuel burners. They enable the electrification of existing plants and help companies reduce CO₂ emissions, lower operating costs and meet regulatory requirements. Existing systems can be efficiently modernised by replacing fossil fuel heat generators, particularly in retrofit projects.

Thanks to their customised design in terms of performance, materials, flange connections and control technology, Ohmex flange heaters can be precisely adapted to the respective application. This results in robust, low-maintenance and durable solutions for a safe, efficient and sustainable process heat supply in a wide range of industrial sectors.

The FHK series of flange heaters offers a solution for heating various media in process tanks, pressure vessels or similar applications. The standard heater consists of a number of heating elements that are TIG welded into a process flange. The electrical connection is made in a robust connection housing. The surface load and the number of heating elements installed depend on the medium to be heated and the required connected load.

We are happy to offer you the appropriate electrical switchgear for temperature or power control with contactor and/or thyristor control as an option.

Our flange heating elements are used either in safe areas or for explosion-proof zones in accordance with ATEX.
