Our electric air heaters are designed for industrial use and offer an efficient solution for heating process and recirculating air. Thanks to their robust construction, precisely configurable heating outputs and high operational reliability, they are suitable for a wide range of applications where controlled temperature management and availability are crucial.
Depending on requirements, our electric air heaters are available in various designs and can be flexibly adapted to the application, air flow and power requirements.
The air heaters essentially consist of the following main components:
- Duct section with transition fittings to round flanges in accordance with DIN EN 1092 (smooth collar with welded bead)
- Heating elements (in various materials)
- Temperature sensor (thermostat / thermocouple / resistance thermometer)
- Electrical connection housing
We are happy to offer you the appropriate electrical switchgear for temperature or power control with contactor and/or thyristor control as an option.
Our electric air heaters are used either in safe areas or for explosion-proof zones in accordance with ATEX.
Electric Air Heater LEH-A

LEH-A series electric air heaters are designed for heating gaseous media.
The main applications are heating air in ventilation/air conditioning systems or heat recovery systems.
Other areas of application include process/environmental technology, e.g. in the catalytic post-combustion of exhaust gases or drying ovens, or in the plastics/textile or paper industry. A variable design concept allows for a wide range of applications. The use of highly compressed heating elements with a metal jacket and direct heat transfer to the medium to be heated results in the efficient conversion of electrical energy into thermal energy. Special materials made of acid-resistant stainless steel are available for heating aggressive media. Alternatively, the heaters can also be supplied in INCOLOY, INCONEL, HASTELLOY and MONEL materials.

Electric Air Heater LEH-EXE
Ex-certified electric duct heaters Ex’e‘ T1 – T6 ATEX.
The ‘LEH-Exe’ series of electric heaters are certified with protection class Ex'e'. They are supplied according to customer specifications and are approved for use in potentially explosive zone 2.
The main applications are the heating of air in ventilation/air conditioning systems or heat recovery systems.
